Antonio Armstrong, born Antonio Donnell Shorter on October 15, 1973, died on July 29, 2016. Armstrong and his wife, Dawn, were shot and killed in their bedroom. Their 16-year-old son was charged with the murders.

Lyman Bostock
Lyman Wesley Bostock, Jr. was born 11/22/1950 in Birmingham, AL. He died 9/24/1978 at age 27 from a gunshot wound. After a game in Chicago, Bostock visited his uncle. While stopped at a light, a car pulled up alongside them. The driver of the second car fired one shot from a shotgun. The assailant, Leonard Smith, did not even know Bostock. The blast was intended for his estranged wife, who was along for the ride as a guest of Bostock’s uncle. The blast missed the woman but struck Bostock in the left temple and he died two hours later. Bostock had known the woman in the car for about 20 minutes.

Taylor Bradford
Bradford was shot and killed on the night of September 30, 2007. He had been sitting in his car when four former high school classmates tried to rob him of $7,400 he had won at a casino. He was 21 at the time.

Shane Curry
Shane Clifton Curry was born on 4/7/1968 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He died on 5/4/1992 at age 24 from a gunshot. Curry was shot in the head during an argument over a blocked vehicle in a parking lot outside Brandy’s Lounge in Cincinnati. Police charged a 15-year-old boy with felonious assault. Curry was going to be entering his second season with the Indianapolis Colts.

Vernon “The Viper” Forrest
Vernon Forrest was born on 2/12/1971 in Augusta, Georgia. He died on 7/25/2009 at age 38 in Atlanta, Georgia from gunshot wounds. According to police, Forrest stopped at a gas station to put air in the tires of his Jaguar. He was approached by two men in an apparent carjacking attempt. Forrest was shot in the back about eight times.

Howard Porter was born on 8/31/1948 in Stuart, FL. He died on 5/27/2007 at age 58 in Minneapolis, MN from being beaten to death. At the time of his death, Porter was employed as a probation officer. He disappeared on May 18, 2007 and was found in an alley, severely beaten, in the early morning of May 19, 2008. He died of his injuries on May 27, 2007. Police later arrested Rashad Arthur Raleigh and charged him with Porter’s murder.
